Pickleball Flanders, together with a Comité of several pickleball clubs in Belgium, are organising their first major pickleball event called the Pickleball Interclub, which will take place on 21 and 22 June 2025 in Kortemark, West-Vlaanderen (Pools) and on 28 June at Gym Sportcentrum in Schoten, Antwerp (finals).

The event is open to all Flemish clubs though also Walloon and foreign clubs are welcome to join. Clubs can delegate different teams of 4 players en compete for the title. Notwithstanding official information and details regarding registration, format, and schedules are still to be communicated, below already some practical information useful to consider possible participation:

  • Registration starts soon
  • Teams of 4 players will compete against other teams of 4 players
  • There are 3 competitions: Men’s Double, women’s double, and Mixed Double (2 women and 2 men)
  • During the qualifiers, a team encounters minimum 3 other teams
  • An encounter consists of 4 matches. For the Mixed competition that involves : 1 match of ladies double, 1 match of men’s double, and 2 matches of mixed double
  • The team that wins most matches wins the encounter
  • The tournament is organised in different DUPR series: DUPR 13, 14, 16 and 20 for men’s and mixed double, and ‘likely’ DUPR 13, 15 and 20 for women’s double. The joint DUPR ranking of the team may not exceed the DUPR ranking of the serie in which they participate. For players without ranking, the club president concerned will be asked to determine a correct DUPR ranking.
  • Enrollment fee is set at 50 EUR per team
  • There are no age categories for this tournament (there will be in future)
  • All qualifiers will be held in Kortemark on 21 and 22 June according to following schedule:

Saturday 21 June AM: Lower DUPR series men and women’s double

Saturday 21 June PM: Lower DUPR series mixed double

Sunday 22 June AM: Higher DUPR series men and women’s double

Sunday 22 June PM: Higher DUPR series mixed double

50% of the teams will make it to the Finals held on Saturday 28 June at Sportcentrum Gym Schoten (Antwerp)
